Achievements:

• Came 1st in Novice 1 of the recently completed Wellington Championships.
• Scored distinction in my Grade 4 piano practical exam in June.
• Made the cross country team for my school in the inter zone competition.
• Qualified for the Asia Pacific Rim Junior Invitational in August 2011.
• Selected as part of the New Zealand team to participate in the APAC meet. I am the youngest diver in the team.
• Won gold in 3m and Silver in 1m at the National Championships.
• Won the trophy for the Best Diver Under 13 Age Group for 2011 at the National Championships.
• Joint winner of the Hansell Trophy for the highest point for one age group dive at the National Championships.
• Won gold in 3m and bronze in 1m in the Autumn Champs.
• Won gold in 3m and 1m in the Wellington Champs.

Goals:

• To qualify for the Australian Junior Elite Competition in 2012 and win gold in all my events.
• To qualify and win all my events for any competitions in 2012

Most memorable sporting moment:

• Going to China and training there 
• Standing up to receive my trophies at the National Champs
• Selected as part of the Diving New Zealand team and knowing that I am the youngest in the team

Who is the most influential person in your sporting career and why?

The most influential person in my sporting career would be Gabe. She started out just like me, training with James before moving to Steven’s group and look at her now! She is going to the Commonwealth Games! I might have the chance too in the future, together with all my team mates.

 

Hobbies/Interests:

Piano, art, writing, reading, cooking, travelling, running, swimming and TV.

Favourite food:

Lamb, steak, pasta and chicken rice.
