Congratulations to Hayley Cox who has been selected for the 2019/2020 NZ Open Surf Life Saving Team and to compete in the Sanyo Cup in Japan later this year.
WHiPA are proud to be supporting Hayley with a WHiPA Lloyd Morrison Aquatic Athlete Scholarship to assist her in these endeavours this year.
After competing with Lyall Bay Surf Life Saving Club for over ten years, Hayley moved to Australia in early 2017 when aged 17 years old ato continue training and compete with the Currumbin Vikings Surf Life Saving Club.
The 2018/2019 season has been her most successful, achieving two of her biggest goals - making the NZ Surf Life Saving open squad, and qualifying in the Nutri Grain Iron Woman Series.
